Falahari Arbi recipe is made for special fasting days and you can enjoy it on other days as well. As the name suggests, the main ingredient of this recipe is Arabic, which is cooked in ghee. This recipe is served hot.

To make this Falahari Arbi recipe, Arbi is cooked with grated ginger in it by adding a spice of parsley and whole coriander to the ghee. Black pepper powder and lemon are used in it for a spicy taste. It is garnished with coriander leaves for good aroma and better taste. Keeping in mind the fast, rock salt is used instead of plain salt.

You can enjoy this arbi recipe with sago bread, kuttu atta puri, and phalari uttapam. If you want, you can eat it as a snack with a cup of good tea.




Ingredients for Falahari Arbi 


Ginger: 1 teaspoon (grated)
Whole coriander: 1 tsp
Celery (Ajwain): 1 teaspoon
Rock Salt: As per taste
Black Pepper Powder: 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
Ghee: 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp

Method to Make Falahari Arbi 

Put ghee in a pan and heat it. Add celery and whole coriander to it and temper.


Then add ginger, arbi and rock salt to it and cover it and let it cook on low flame till the arbi melts.

Keep stirring it for a while so that the Arbi does not stick to the pan.

When the Arbi (Taro) melts, add black pepper powder to it and take it off the flame.

Now mix lemon juice in it and decorate it with coriander leaves and serve spicy Arbi
