Ingredients required to make Kachori Idli:


Idli Batter as per requirement.
50 grams coarsely crushed Tuvar Dal.
1 tbsp Fresh Coconut.
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Chilli Paste.
1 teaspoon Fennel seeds.
1 teaspoon sesame seeds.
1/8 tsp Turmeric Powder.
1 teaspoon sugar.
½ tsp Lemon Juice.
Salt according to taste.
1 tablespoon oil.
Fresh Coconut Chutney to serve.

How to make Kachori Idli


Heat the oil in a pan, then add sesame and fennel in it and let it crackle, now add ginger garlic, green chilli paste and fry it a little.

Now crush Tuvar Dal, add turmeric powder, salt, sugar and some water and cook Tuvar seeds, when the water is dry and Tuvar Dal is cooked then add coconut in it.

Now add lemon juice, mix it well and turn off the gas and let the stuffing cool down in a bowl, so the kachori stuffing is ready, now make the stuffing.

Now grease the idli mold with oil, then put some idli batter in it, then place the tikki of stuffing made in it and put the idli batter on it again, cover the steamer and cook the idli for 10-12 minutes.

Now turn off the gas after 10-12 minutes and allow the idli mold to cool down a bit, then unmold the idli and serve it with fresh coconut chutney.
