Dry Fruits Modak Recipe
Many people eat dry fruits regularly, while some people sometimes eat dry fruits as a snack. It is believed that dry fruits are healthy, they fulfill the deficiency of essential vitamins and proteins in the body. But often you have also heard that dry fruits should not be eaten too much, because it can also cause harm to the body. We have brought you a very easy modak recipe for Navratri festival especially for you! Made from roasted dry fruits and nuts, this modak is a popular Maharashtra dessert. Modak is Ganesh Bhagwan's favorite dessert anyway. You can make these dry fruits modak on any festive occasion. So let us know very easy method of making dry fruits modak.
Ingredients of dry fruit modak
6 figs
8 seedless dates
15-16 Almonds
1 Tsp walnuts
12-13 peanuts
5-6 pistachios
9-10 cashews
1 Tsp sesame seeds
1 Tsp Chironji
1 Tsp Khus Khus
1 Tsp coconut
1 Tbsp Ghee
10 raisins, chopped
5 apricots, sliced
1 Tsp cardamom powder
Method of making dry fruit modak
To make modak, first soak the figs and dates for two hours. Then in a grinder take almonds, peanuts, walnuts, pistachios and cashews. After grinding all the nuts together, pour the crushed nuts on the pan and fry well.
Take coconut sesame in a second pan, Chironji, khas khas of and mint. Fry them well. After this, grind the soaked figs and dates in the grinder. Now take ghee in a pan, add fig-dates paste in it. Shake it well and add chopped raisins.
Mix well and add all the ground fry fruits as well. Mix the dried fruits thoroughly so that they can be fully infected with the paste.
Now there was a mixture of coconut and cardamom powder. Mix the ingredients well with the paste to make a thick mixture. Then to make modak, make it in the shape of modak with ghee. Your modak is ready.
