Dhokla
Dhokla is a very tasty and wonderful dish. Although it is a Gujarati dish, nowadays it is famous all over India. Tasty and delicious Dhokla is ready in a few minutes. Some people think that they have to be soaked for 8-10 hours to make Dhokla solution (batter), it is very difficult work but it is not so. Pour eno in the batter and in a very short time the delicious and soft dhokla is ready. Although there is no time to eat any dish, most people like to eat it in the morning and evening breakfast. The hot dhokla is served with garnished with green chutney and coriander leaves, it also looks attractive and the taste of the dhokla also looks great and delicious. If you want to be healthy and fit and want a snack with less oil then Dhokla is best. Neither does it contain much oil nor does it cause any harm to our body. It is better to order from outside the hotel and make these healthy breakfasts at home and start a healthy day. According to the method given below, in a very short time we can make tasty Dhokla and also feed other members of the family and friends.
Ingredients for Dhokla
200 gm gram flour
3-4 green chilies
1 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp lemon juice
3 tsp eno
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp rye
1 tsp coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Method to make Dhokla
First take a vessel, add gram flour, curd, salt, semolina, turmeric, asafetida, etc. to it. Mix this mixture well and add a little water to this mixture. Now beat the entire batter thoroughly. Keep in mind that the batter is spread well so that no ingredients are left unattended. After doing so, keep the solution (batter) in one place.
Now take a pressure cooker and put water in it to heat it. Now take a baking disk, grease it with some ghee and keep it smooth.
After doing this, we take a mixture of solution (batter) and see we have got well or not. Now to lift the yeast, add a little oil and whisk it well. Keep in mind that all the mixture should be mixed well.
Now take a smooth baking dish, pour the batter into it and spread it well. Take care to spread the batter evenly. Now keep this plate in the cooker in which the water was heated. Now cover the cooker's lid and remove the whistle from the lid. So that it cooks on steam. Leave it for a while.
When the dhokla cooks well on steam, take out the plate and put your hands to see if the dhokla is cooked or not. If cooked, cut it into pieces. You can cut according to your wish. Keep one thing in mind that cut only after cooling.
After doing this, take a pan and heat a little oil in it. Now add some mustard seeds and add finely chopped green chilies and fry a little, add chopped dhokla and fry it. Fry for a while. Your hot dhokla is ready, serve it with green chutney.
