Lucknowi Biryani



Lucknow is called the city of Nawab, there is a hobby and style of Nawab in everything. That is why the famous biryani there is also called the biryani of Nawab. Lucknowi Biryani is a royal biryani of the Mughal era which is liked by all. People from foreign countries come to Lucknow only to taste this biryani.

Ingredients for Lucknowi Biryani


400 gram rice
400 gram chicken
2 cups of water
1/2 cup milk
2 onions
4 green chillies
4 cloves
4 cardamom
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp ghee
2 tsp coriander leaves
Salt to taste

Method to make Lucknowi Biryani


To make Lucknowi Biryani, first heat ghee in a pan, add finely chopped onions and fry it on low heat. After some time the onion color will change, then add ginger garlic paste and mix it.

Now add chicken pieces to this mixture and fry them on low heat. Add green chilies, milk, red chilies, salt, pepper to this mixture and fry the entire mixture. Leave it to cook for a while.

When this mixture is cooked, turn off the gas and keep this mixture covered. Now put rice, long and cardamom with water in a vessel and keep the rice on the gas for cooking.

After some time the rice will be cooked, then turn off the gas and filter the rice with a sieve and keep it aside. Now spread the rice mixture on top of the rice, spread it in a vessel, add lemon juice and add rice again.

Likewise, spread 2-3 layers. Decorate your delicious Lucknowi Biryani by putting green coriander on top and it is ready to survey everyone with curd or pickle.
