Basundi


Gujarati Basundi is a very tasty and delicious dessert made with thick milk and it looks like North Indian Rabri. Almonds and pistachios add flavor to this creamy dessert. While cooking, do not forget to scrape the edges of the pot, because the basundi becomes thick and creamy by doing so.

Ingredients for Basundi

1 liter - Milk
1 Pinch - Nutmeg
1 Pinch - Cardamom
few strands - Kesar
Half cup - Sugar
2 tbsp - chopped almonds
1 tbsp - chopped pistachio
