Ingredients for Onion Pakoda Recipe


2 Onion (peeled)  
¼ bowl gram flour  
1½ Tsp red chili powder
1 Tsp rice flour   
¾ Cup green coriander (chopped)
¼ Tsp hing  
Salt as per taste
½ Cup water
2 Tsp Oil and for frying

Method to Make Pyaaz Pakora or Onion Pakoda Recipe


Two onions, cut off the top and bottom.

Peel off the onion and cut the top hard part and at the same time take care that there is no black spot on the onion.

Now cut the onion in half and cut it in half.

Cut them into thin and long pieces. 

Take them out in a mixing bowl. 

Now take out their layers.

Then take gram flour in the same mixing bowl. 

After this add red chili powder and rice flour.

Now add hing, salt and chopped coriander.

Mix all these well and Now add water slowly and make a thick batter.

Then heat 2 tablespoons oil in a small pan.

Heat the oil for about 2 minutes.

Now put it in the batter and mix it well.

Heat oil in a pan for frying on low heat.

To check whether the oil has heated up, try adding a little batter to the oil.

If bubbles are being formed after pouring the batter, then the oil pakoras are completely ready for frying. 

With the help of your hands, make pakoras one by one and put them in oil. 

Fry them on medium heat for 2 minutes. 

Then carefully change the side and allow it to cook from the other side.

Fry them till it turns golden brown on both sides.

Remove from oil and serve it hot.
